Hi,

I just noticed that my application has changed from "Ranking in
Progress" into "Available for Review". So what does this new status
"Available for Review" mean? Does this mean that the ranking for my
application is over? And who is going to review it?

I'm really sorry I haven't had a chance to post about this yet. We
made some changes in the web app today that clarified some wording
based on the program timeline and it's probably confusing. I'll
update this in the docs later but:

- Until applications close on March 31st, your application is
available for review, because no one is scoring ("ranking") it

- During the evaluation period, your application's status will read
"Ranking in Progress" as soon as someone scores it in any way

- If your application's status changes to "Ineligible" during the
evaluation period, it was not eligible. This usually happens because
the application is not sufficient, e.g. "I would like to work on your
project." Full stop. That's not enough. :)

- When we announce the accepted student proposals on April 14th, your
application's status will change to either "Accepted" or "Not
Selected."

Cheers,
LH
